Last storm of the season we hope

This is runoff from Sunday's storm...The temps lower than usual. We have a fire tonight , but were in shorts for Christmas . Today I had to cross the sierras only to turn back...Chain controls from Reno north to the highway I take ...Ice on the roads and many accidents...I hit a stretch of ice and a moron passed me only to spin out into a snow bank..well I am at home now warm and know trout season is to be delayed again......

Too Much Rain

This is Putah Creek that feeds out of Lake Berryessa ....the bottom is a drain that is aprox 20 ft across.....this is the creek I caught my first trout on a fly rod....does not look the same...most streams are so full that I might as well sit out the opening day of trout season....guess I will work on the house...hope all is well...
